Who Am I?

I’m Lauren Alexander, an Intuitive Sound Healer and Hatha Yoga Facilitator.

Like so many, I struggled—with self-love, stress, anxiety, and the endless mental chatter that kept me from feeling truly content. My search for balance and fulfillment led me inward, and ultimately, to my purpose.

I traveled to Rishikesh, India, the birthplace of yoga, where I trained with renowned teachers and became a Registered Hatha Yoga Instructor and Certified Sound Healer. With 18 years of personal practice and deep study, I’ve experienced firsthand how these ancient practices can transform the mind, body, and soul.

Before stepping into the wellness space, I built a successful 20-year career in luxury hospitality, event production. I understand the pressures of stress and burnout, which is why I now integrate my expertise into mindfully curated wellness experiences. Whether through yoga, sound healing, or customized retreats, my mission is to help others uncover their true selves, release limiting beliefs, and cultivate lasting peace and joy.

Hatha Yoga

Hatha yoga is a gentle and foundational form of yoga accessible to people of all ages and fitness levels. A typical class involves a series of physical postures (Asanas) held for varying lengths of time, with an emphasis on proper alignment, breath awareness, and mindfulness. As the oldest form of Asanas (or physical postures) Hatha Yoga aims to bring balance to the body and mind. Regular practice helps to improve flexibility, strength, balance and concentration, as well as reduce stress and promote relaxation.

Ashtanga Yoga

Ashtanga yoga is a style that emphasizes the synchronization of breath and movement. It is known for its rigorous and physically demanding practice, which involves a set sequence of postures. A traditional class is started standing, then follows 84 postures consecutively holding each posture for 5 breathes. Ancient Sound Healing Therapy Techniques

Science is now catching up to what ancient civilizations have known all along, the healing power of sound and vibrations. Physically, the vibrations can alleviate pain, improve circulation, and boost the immune system. Tibetan Singing Bowls resonate sound frequencies which stimulate the alpha and theta brain waves associated with meditative and peaceful states. These ancient therapies address the whole person, not just specific symptoms. Varying techniques like Yoga Nidra and Sound Healing, Chakra Balancing, Meditation and Hydro Therapy help quiet the mind, reduce anxiety, and promote emotional stability.

Breathwork – Pranayama

Explore the benefits of Pranayama (breathwork) to regulate our energy body and nervous system. Prana meaning breath and ayama means control. We dive into the importance of having breath awareness and the ability to focus and intentionally exercise our lungs and respiratory system. These sessions focus on ancient breath control practices like Kapalabhati, Bhastrika, Nadishodana, Bhramri and more!

Meditation- Dyhana

Take a deep dive into the world of meditation. We will expand on the idea of what meditation through uncovering different techniques and types of meditative experiences. Each session can be an opportunity to try a new technique like guided loving kindness, movement, walking, dancing, eye gazing, Trataka, sound, and more! Beginners to advanced practitioners can access the excellent benefits of meditation like improvement with memory, sleep, clarity, creativity, overall health and wellbeing.
